The Meo GP end of year lunch was held on Friday at Scopa.
In attendance were: Slim, Davis, Barney, Kirky, Glenno, Jono, Joe, Robbo, Antosh, Craig, Aaron Slight, Tom Findlay (senior) and Backy.
Craig was the last man standing, leaving town at 5:30am the next day! Antosh wasn't far behind at 5am.
Awards were handed out as follows:
Davis, "Best looking sock draw". Pair of mismatching socks.
Barney, "Pay slip from Capital". His 'real' day job.
Kirky, "King of the Funriders". Gold medal.
Craig, "Most Improved". EPO vial.
Joe, "Hard Man of the Year" for Tour of Southland. Toy motorbike.
Slim, "Shitter of the Year" Velosolex Moped.
Jono, "Big Spender of the Year" Pinarello Prince, 09 Super Record.
Antosh, "Voice of the Peloton" 2 for 1 Mermaid card.
Glenno – new dog collar for summer at the beach.
Much anticipation around who might receive the iconic White Horse for 2008. The Director wasn't sure that anyone was deserving of the coveted horse, so she looked to be heading back to the Milan office for another year.
Later in the evening the horse went missing from right under the Director's nose. The Seatoun office is a prime suspect at this stage. Police have been informed of the matter.
